Graduates for Business and Work Experience
Graduates for Business
The Graduates for Business Programme, also known as GFB, helps attract and retain top graduate talent by matching their skills to the individual needs of companies and organisations here in the North East.
Developed and managed by Teesdale, GFB maintains a database through which the Placement Officer can match a companies job specification to graduates, then present CVs to Management for selection and interview.
Last year almost 200 GFB Graduates were placed with North East firms and of those over 90% were retained in full time employment.
In addition to making the best candidates for vacancies available, GFB helps the graduate by starting them on the ideal career path where their skills are valued and in demand.
GFB will ease the graduates early weeks in employment for the company by providing £70 per week for 15 weeks towards the graduates salary.
Graduates are by definition, intelligent and well-educated. With support from GFB staff, firms benefit from an influx of new ideas and drive, enabling Managers to spend more time managing their business.
