Born in Preston, a down to earth Lancashire lass am aye! From an early age I knew that my career would be both working with people and numbers. After achieving a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy I took the finance world by storm and worked from Accounts Assistant to Management Accountant over a period of ten years.

Brought up on a farm I have always had a keen interest in rural businesses so when a position came up at The Enterprise Agency I knew I had found my calling! Working in the Wear Valley Area I help businesses with all matters regarding finance as well as many other topics I have learnt along the way!

I thoroughly enjoy what I do and have an amazing feeling after each week that maybe I have made a difference, even in whatever small way. Putting people at ease and transferring my knowledge, I help to take away what a lot of people find the boring strain of a business – the finance.

In my spare time my passion is playing the guitar and singing around Barnard Castle along with spending most of my spare time with my partner being dragged uphill on a mountain bike!
