Sue Sibley

Marketing Adviser

Born and bred in County Durham, I have many longstanding memories of the Wear Valley area and how it has developed over the years.

My work experience has been varied to say the least, working with the North East Chamber of Commerce for over 12 years, assisting regional SME businesses to help grow and develop their business practices. During my time here I also completed my honours degree in Business Management.

I then decided I wanted to move into a more direct advertising role moving on to Galaxy Radio North East, this entailed working in a more direct media environment with regional businesses and working on advertising campaigns specific to their business requirements. However as my first love has always been marketing I then moved to become a Marketing and Communications Manager for Wear Valley District Council where I was able to develop my knowledge base in the public sector.

I am the proud mother of Ryan my seven old son and my step daughter Jessica who both keep me constantly entertained, with my two dogs and two cats and of our course my husband!

I am very much looking forward to working with local businesses once again and helping them to realise their potential.
